Fire permits are REQUIRED for ALL burning in the Town and County of Cardston outside of approved fire pits.
Fire Permits are NOT required for backyard fire pits – however certain standards apply to fire pits.
Failure to obtain burn permits and/or burning prohibited materials may result in fines and/or a bill for a response from the fire department.

Permits are available for issue at no cost – Mon-Fri during business hours. Please contact the appropriate office for the location on which the burn will take place. Contact info can be found below
